Once you are attuned, you will be able to see me from afar

Thakur Balak Brahmachari was enlightened since birth. HE used to tell HIS young playmates “I am aware of the mysteries of the nature, teach me the language of this society, I shall convey the invaluables”. Shri Shri Thakur gave us the holy name “Ram Narayan Ram” which is the essence of the whole creation. HE is neither an incarnation nor the God! But HE creates God!

God is someone through whom the absolute energy of the Universal Cosmos is expressed or within Whom the supreme power resides. Bangladesh in a small village named Medinimondal near the banks of the river Padma, in the district of Vikrampur on Tuesday, 9th November 1920 at 10.20 PM. HIS Father was Shri Surendra Chandra Chakroborty and Mother was Smt. Charushila Devi (1899-1985). Shri Shri Thakur was born with divine powers and HE has been an embodiment of pure knowledge since childhood. People from all walks of life were attracted to his grace and spiritualism and to his vast treasure of cosmic truth. From the very tender age of five HE talked fluently on Nature’s Veda, that’s far beyond the knowledge available in any of the religious scriptures. It covers a much wider field, a more comprehensive dimension, where true knowledge manifests itself amidst Nature’s infinite tunes. He has been preaching from His very childhood the concept of One World, One religion, One Nation, One family.

The real name of Thakur was Birendra Chandra Chakraborty. He gave his blessings and initiated people with holy mantras even before the tender age of five. Since then, HE was popularly known as “Balak Gosain” (Child God), or “Balak Thakur” (Child Master) by his followers and local people. He migrated to India in 1947 immediately after the partition of Bengal and came to be popularly known as Thakur Balak Brahmachari.

On 27th September 1969 at the age of 49 Shri Shri Thakur Balakbrahmachari finally gave us the Mahanaam in its present form i.e, “Ram Narayan Ram” where the words Ram and Narayan do not represent God Rama or God Krishna, instead, these are the Primordial Vedic words having special spiritual significance, they carry the essence of the whole creation, they describe the characteristics of the Eternal Void and the Infinite Tune. Their meaning is deep-rooted and broad-based.
